Customer Serivce Representative
Routinely demonstrates superior customer service skills.
o Provides exceptional customer service at all times.
o Answers telephone in a timely and polite manner, preferably within three rings.
o Communicates with customers in a courteous, professional, cooperative and mature manner.
o Protects/observes patient confidentiality per policies and procedures.
o Check in visitors through the visitor management system
o Advise admitting when patient has arrived for procedures
o Issue a wristband and badge to visitors
o Issue vendor badges
o Direct patients and visitors throughout the facility
o Working in cooperating with the volunteer staff to provide escorts
o Recognizes and responds appropriately to violent/abusive situations, threats, fire and emergency situations
o Display warmth and compassion in all interactions with patients and visitors
o Ensure efficient and detailed transactions
o Be resourceful and knowledgeable of the facility they are assigned to
o Be a teammate to all other facility team members
o Possess excellent communication skills
o Type 40-50 WPM
o Display effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
o Give directions to anyone who needs them
o Know the facility codes in case of emergency
o Maintain patient privacy and patient confidentiality at all times
o Front desk duties including operating phones, two way radios, registration, discharge and/or other duties as assigned
