Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiting Intern to join our team and support our recruitment efforts. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of the recruiting process, providing valuable exposure to the field of human resources. 

Duties   

  • Champions "The Layton Way" by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
  • Ensures that "Constructing with Integrity" is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work.
  • Reviewing resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications.
  • Collaborating with team members to shortlist candidates for further evaluation.
  • Assisting in the coordination of interviews.
  • Maintaining and updating candidate databases and tracking systems.
  • Working closely with the recruiting team to understand hiring needs and priorities.
  • Assisting in the analysis of recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.
  • Providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned

   

Qualifications   

  • Desired qualifications include being a second-year, third-year, or fourth-year university student, with a preference for a major in HR or a related field.
  • Prior internship experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate should possess advanced computer skills, effective administrative and document management abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn, the ability to multitask, and work under deadlines are crucial. Additionally, enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a keen interest in recruitment are highly valued.
