Summary
The QA Manager oversees and ensures the quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Construction Quality Manager for Contractors (CQM-C) certification or equivalent work experience. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of commissioning and punch list processes, coupled with strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively. 
 
Duties
 
  • Implement and manage quality assurance and quality control procedures on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Lead the commissioning process, ensuring systems and components are installed, tested, and operational according to project requirements.
  • Manage the punch list process to identify, track, and resolve deficiencies efficiently, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor quality assurance personnel and inspectors, providing guidance and support to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 
 
Qualifications                          
  • Construction Quality Manager for Contractors (CQM-C) certification or equivalent construction quality management certification.
  • Proven experience managing the commissioning and punch list processes in construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead others effectively, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality management, with a track record of successful project completions.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, techniques, codes, and regulations.
  • Preferred: ICC certifications in building inspection or similar credentials related to construction inspections.
 
The full salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000. This position is eligible for a target bonus.
