Our Canadian operations are expanding with a 170,000 square foot fiberglass manufacturing facility on a 148-acre site in Bath, Loyalist Township in Ontario, Canada! This new facility will enable us to more effectively and efficiently serve markets in the eastern half of Canada, as well as the Northeast and upper Midwest of the United States, producing pools for its fiberglass brands, including Latham and Narellan Pools.
Pilot Truck Driver
The pilot driver is required to safely operate a pilot vehicle equipped with warning lights and flags to escort the delivery truck hauling over-dimensional loads on local and provincial highways. The pilot vehicle travels in front or behind the over-dimensional vehicle to warn other road users of the presence of an oversized vehicle, and with 2-way communication devices, informs the delivery driver of any load shift or any potential hazards such as narrow bridges, low-hanging trees, lane shift, parked cars, pedestrians, etc. along the delivery route.
Pilot drivers are also an essential part of our production team, especially when not engaged in deliveries. In this role, the pilot driver will assist the team in detailing and polishing the pools during their final stage, ensuring they are fully prepared for shipping.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join or delivery team in our new facility.
