Senior Communications Specialist
Description
Primary Role: Latham Pool Products-The North American leader in fabricated pool manufacturing- is growing its marketing team. We are looking for a dynamic Senior Communications Specialist to help us grow Latham's business through engagement, awareness and strategic marketing communications programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Craft storytelling to drive Latham brand and product narratives across earned and select paid media channels including organic social and public relations.
2. Develop and deploy holistic comms strategy to build brand and corporate reputation.
3. Develop and maintain annual external & internal content calendars aligning key product initiatives, seasonality, cultural moments etc. with associated channel for deployment. This includes all internal (company) and external (consumer & customer) communications, organic social media, newsletters etc.
4. Create and execute marketing communications programs that effectively describe and promote Latham products which may include brochures, company or product fact sheets, point-of-sale materials, trade print.
5. Work with VP of Marketing to manage PR agency and associated initiatives such as press releases, media pitches and outreach, trade show support etc.
6. Analyze category and cultural trends for new market opportunities. Keep abreast of competitive developments and communicate back to the organization.
7. Manage relationships with industry associations and execute against available marketing support activities at part of Latham’s memberships and sponsorships.
8. Lead product reviews, ratings & rankings. Industry award submissions.
9. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to translate complex information into fun and informative content
• 5-7 years experience of marketing communications work in a corporate environment
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office products; Graphic design software a plus
Salary range for this position is $70,000-$100,000
