Primary Role: The Production Manager leads the production team, managing daily Production; including Safety, Quality and output for the facility.  Supports a strong employee culture through the reinforcement of Latham’s Core Values.       
 

• Supervise operations to ensure positive labor efficiency and variance through proper usage of personnel. 
• Follow company safety policies and programs to promote a safety-first culture throughout the facility. 
• Maintain high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process. 
• Follow training and cross training program and implement for production staff. 
• Responsible for production, meeting daily schedule to insure on time delivery while minimizing overtime. 
• Maintain a high level of quality by doing regular inspections of products. 
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements to solve the problems. 
• Submit reports on performance and progress to direct manager. 
• Communicate job expectations, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. 
• Facilitate daily shift meetings. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

• Minimum of HS Diploma with experience; Management or Technical college degree preferred. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing/Engineering related function. 
• Computer and keyboarding skills, including Excel, Databases, and Word Processing. 
• Experience with payroll systems is a plus. 
• Ability to read blueprints. 
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary, including extended hours or weekends. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal. 
• Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience desired. 
• Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations.
