Primary Role:    
This role is responsible for implementing the Safety program at the facility level and play a key role
in the site leadership team. It requires strong collaboration across functions, particularly with
operations and human resources. The position demands a thorough understanding of applicable
safety regulations, safe work practices, and document management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, training, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence all levels of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with site team to implement the Safety Program and respective policies.  
  • Audit effectiveness of the site safety program through audits, including annual corporate audit.  
  • Provide Safety training to all site personnel.  
  • Maintain all pertinent safety records.   
  • Maintain workers compensation files and investigate incidents.   
  • Generates internal and external reports as required (document management).  
  • Execute site inspection program with respect to safety regulations.  
  • Accompany state, federal, and local inspectors from various agencies.  Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees and regulatory agencies.  
  • Act as local expert on all safety requirements, providing guidance and working closely with site leadership team as a welcome resource.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
 
Qualifications:
  • BS in Safety Management or related field and 2 years manufacturing experience is required or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Familiarity with LOTO and Electrical Safety NFPA 70E.  
  • Capacity to multi-task, prioritize workload and set and reach goals.  
  • Ability to effectively present information in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to present and train in front of an audience.  
  • Competent to keep accurate records.  
  • Proficient with computers and computer programs: Microsoft Outlook and Excel. 
 
Compensation
  • Minimum Salary $66,000.00
  • Maximum Salary $80,000.00
