Primary Role: The Maintenance supervisor for Latham Pool Products will be primarily responsible for training, mentoring, and managing the staff of maintenance technicians. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leadership in a maintenance supervisory role. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of PLC ladder logic, control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, 380V 3 phase power, chillers, air compressors, and have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. They should also be detail driven, self-motivated, and have a desire to actively impact and improve overall plant safety, quality, and efficiency metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure teams adherence to all established plant safety and quality procedures
- Train and develop teams troubleshooting and maintenance techniques and skills
- Assist with troubleshooting complex issues until resolved
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise work performed by outside contractors when required
- Utilize CMMS software for managing preventative maintenance activities
- Utilize CMMS software for managing breakdown workorder activities and assignments
- Assist with Sourcing and ordering components related to scheduled and unscheduled downtime
- Positively impact the overall reliability and efficiency of equipment
Qualifications/Skills:
- Degree in a technical field a plus, but not required
- Minimum of 10 years maintenance or related industry experience
- 3-5 years experience as a maintenance supervisor
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities
- Strong technical skills with industrial equipment and systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to proactively contribute in a team environment
- The ability to work overtime when necessary
WHAT WE OFFER:
- A competitive wage from $75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.
