WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assure all department functions are performed accurately, efficiently, and economically.
- Assist in development, documentation, and implementation of departmental procedures.
- Follow and complete the daily production schedule, including changes that may occur during the shift.
- Setup machine crews at start of shift and maintain machine production sheet throughput data on daily basis.
- Be engaged in safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as a routine part of the job responsibilities. Follow all department and plant procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment; perform random safety checks making necessary corrections immediately and promote safety importance.
- Continually review and assess manufacturing processes and make recommendations on possible improvements.
- Must be able to meet daily production standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years’ experience of supervisory experience
- 1-3 years’ experience utilizing a computer and basic Microsoft Office programs, such Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- 1-3 years’ forklift experience
- Basic Lean Manufacturing/5S knowledge
- Must be able to work occasional Saturday over-time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, to communicate with all levels within the corporation.
- Reliable transportation.
