A little about the position:  
 
Primary Role 
 
The Fiberglass Plant Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining an optimized manufacturing schedule that ensures operational efficiency, quality performance, mold maintenance alignment, and compliance with permit levels. This role manages the complete order lifecycle for the site, including the creation and oversight of order acceptance criteria, scheduling of production and shipments, coordination of material procurement, and alignment of shipping activities to support on-time delivery.

Some of What You Will Do:  
  • Lead a culture of safety and compliance with all Federal and State regulations.  
  • Foster a facility that produces the world’s best pools for quality. 
  • Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of fiberglass pools. 
  • Provide an effective schedule to meet all operational objectives. 
  • Continuous interaction with operations employees among multiple areas including shipping, manufacturing, and plant management with key interaction among materials team. 
  • Support facility manufacturing and Production Manager including scheduling and purchasing of products to and from site locations. 
  • Reduce slow and obsolete materials (slob) inventory. 
  • Work with operations to track FGP mold maintenance to help ensure a quality product for customers. 
  • Administer cycle count program for product line. 
  • Understand bill of materials structure, with the ability to utilize ECO process and system as required. 
  • Maintain an accurate perpetual inventory of materials. 
  • Perform all other continuous improvement projects assigned by supervisor. 
  • People Management and Leadership to hire, train and lead site team.   
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)  
  • ​​High School diploma or equivalency with 5 years of manufacturing, installation, or logistics experience.  
  • ​BS in Safety/Science/Engineering or related field and 3 years manufacturing, installation or logistics experience is preferred.   
  • ​Ability to recruit and develop highly performing teams in a manufacturing environment.   
  • ​Familiarity with logistics including oversized loads, crane, and forklift operations.  
  • ​Familiarity with continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing processes.  
  • ​Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, and regulatory agencies.   
  • ​Ability to influence a shared services organization.  
  • ​Proficient knowledge of computer usage; including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
  • ​Lifting up to twenty (20) pounds. 
  • ​Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, hard hat, gloves, and/or protective outerwear and safety shoes are required for entering production areas.  
  • ​Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, head or cold (dependent upon weather conditions) and noise are typical in production areas.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets.  Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
