We are hiring an integral Content Lifecycle Strategist to own the planning, development, and optimization of content that drives brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement and retention. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring content supports the full customer journey—from capture to conversion and long-term retention.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across Product Marketing, Communications and Creative, Web Development, Sales Operations, Engineering, Events, and Partner Marketing to deliver consistent brand voice, messaging, and storytelling across all channels.

Location:

  • Hybrid: Three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in-office in Long Beach, CA
  • Remote work from home on Mondays and Fridays

 

About the Role - Key Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives and go-to-market priorities
  • Own and manage the editorial calendar across blogs, ebooks, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, email campaigns, and website content
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, and Customer teams to create high-impact, audience-centric content
  • Translate complex product, technical, and industry concepts into clear, compelling narratives for multiple personas and funnel stages
  • Conduct audience research, competitive analysis, and SEO keyword research to inform content direction and prioritization
  • Measure and optimize content performance using analytics, including engagement, conversion, and pipeline impact
  • Manage content production workflows, working with internal contributors and external freelancers or agencies

About You - Essential Qualifications: 

  • 5-8 years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, or related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience developing and executing content strategies for B2B, SaaS, or technology-driven organizations
  • Strong understanding of the full content lifecycle and customer journey
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, content analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms

The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and years of experience amongst other factors. 

  • $70,000 - $90,000 per year
