Reports to:                         Director, Human Resources
Pay Range:                          80K – 100K
 
 
Core Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Full-cycle recruitment – sourcing to hire
    • Partners with the Director and VP of HR to understand and execute the company’s talent strategy, future hiring needs, recruiting and retention
  • Systems: Administrator and Owner of all HR Systems: Paylocity, JobVite, Trakstar, Bonusly, Ease (Data Management and Integrity, System Configuration, etc.)
  • Payroll: Process Bi-weekly Payroll in the Firm’s payroll system – Paylocity
  • Employee Relations & HR Business Partner:
    • Handles Employee Relations
    • Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
    • Acts as HR Business Partner to Department Managers
    • Attend interdepartmental meetings with managers
  • Benefits & Leaves:
    • Administers and track Leaves of Absence, including EDD Disability, and Paid Family Leave claims
    • Administration of benefits plan enrollment to include eligibility notification, auditing enrollment information for accuracy, reconciliation of missing deductions and answering all employee questions regarding benefits
    • Assist with annual Open Enrollment
    • Audit and ensure timely payment of monthly insurance bills
    • Assist Employees with 401k inquiries
    • Assists with annual 401K Audit and general admin of plan
  • Performance Management:
    • Oversees quarterly review process
    • Assist Managers with performance counseling, Written Warnings and PIPs
  • General & Admin:
    • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
    • Reporting and Analytics
    • Ensure HR Compliance – Covid, IIPP, Violence Prevention, Anti-Harassment Training, Legal Posting Requirements, and other regulations and requirements 
    • Maintain Org Chart
    • Onboarding and Offboarding Employees including New Hire Orientation and overseeing  Exit Interviews and Procedures (Voluntary and Involuntary)
    • Assist with Special Events planning and coordination
    • Maintain and update employee records and benefits files
    • Special Projects, as needed
 
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least five years of Human Resources Generalist experience, including Recruitment (1+ year of Management experience a plus)  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Experience with varied HR software/systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled at reporting and analytics - stellar Excel skills
