Sr. Financial Analyst - US Direct

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a primary financial resource in the US Direct business unit of Lands’ End. You will support US Direct with a focus on the Operations functions, partnering with Operations leadership and teams to provide financial support and insight for a critical and dynamic function within our business.   

  • Utilize sound business knowledge and consultative skills to provide the information, insight and guidance required to effectively operate the business.
  • Identify and address the financial impact of business decisions and strategic initiatives. 
  • Support long- and short-term financial planning processes.
  • Drive/own cross-business analytic projects for senior management with financial modeling, data mining and presentation support.
  • Establish and publish weekly and monthly financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Prepare weekly forecast for Operations (labor and shipping).
  • Provide business analysis, insights and process leadership across key areas such as business decision support, planning & forecasting and business performance & reporting.

Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of direct experience with demonstrated ability in the following areas:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area (Accounting, Finance, Business, etc.)
  • Experience in a financial support role in a retail environment and/or Distribution Center Operations preferred
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with an ability to interpret and communicate findings
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting abilities and experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills, Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with Hyperion or comparable system preferred
  • Ability to influence decision makers and team members to drive results
  • Innate inquisitiveness relative to process workings and financial results
  • Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with desire to see personal and organizational effort lead to bottom-line results
  • Knowledge of financial processes and internal controls
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
