Large Lines - Commercial Lines Account Executive

  • Manager & retain a large book of business - accounts nearing $1M premium - by providing excellent customer service, a proactive renewal process, negotiating with carriers & underwriters, utilizing internal resources, and by collaborating with other internal teams.
  • Strong focus on relationship management with clients. Must be comfortable leading client and carrier meetings & having continuous, clear, and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Issuing certificates, auto id cards, processing endorsement requests, policy checking, renewal pricing, billing issues, invoicing, and contract reviews
  • Properly utilize & direct assistant account managers to assist with above tasks.
  • Address any deficiencies and anticipate client needs with a quick turnaround time.
  • Confidently & accurately answer client situational questions with respect to insurance coverage and advise about uncovered exposures as applicable.
  • Responsible for learning, understanding, and adhering to our internal timelines, protocols, and workflows.


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Active P&C License. Designations are a plus. 
  • 10+ years of P&C experience. Non-profit experience is a plus. 
  • Forward-thinking with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experienced with Agency Management Systems, preferably Applied EPIC
  • Highly comfortable with using various types of computer technology in a face-paced environment
