Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for developing and qualifying processes and equipment for the manufacturing of medical devices.
About the Role:
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, time study, and space requirements, soliciting observations from operators, and equipment layout.
- Write, plan and execute line validation/qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, MSA, and PQ.
- Participate in PFMEA, Process Mapping, and Critical to Quality (CTQ) reviews.
- Create process documentation, including Work Instructions, Control Plans, and Job Safety Analysis sheets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent, plus 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing/ Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices,
- Experience in process and equipment qualification for medical devices.
- Experience in process improvement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical device manufacturing methods (adhesives, machining, molding, extrusion)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in molding
- Experience in scripting and ladder logic programing
- Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control experience
- Software skills: CAD (SolidWorks), Mini-Tab
