Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Senior Assembler will assemble, inspect, and package the Company’s medical device products. In addition, the Senior Assembler trains and provides spot direction to assemblers. 
 
About the Role: 
  • Prepare and assembler materials, manufacture medical devices in a controlled environment and test products and subassemblies for functionality or quality.
  • Train assemblers to operations based on documented procedures and ensure all training paperwork is signed off, completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Monitors assemblers on site during production activities to ensure adherence to manufacturing and safety procedures.
  • Communicates to production leaders and manager in a timely manner when production issues arise to ensure impact to production is minimized.
  • Ensure that work materials are present when needed and manage material supermarkets.
  • Guide team on approaches to identify, prioritize, communicate and resolve production issues and communicate production related activities with assemblers.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience with high school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate problems or issues clearly and concisely verbally and written in English
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions and policies in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively relate and train team members
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices and procedures
  • Individuals will need to stand or sit for extended periods, and work at a cleanroom table height ranging from 30"-40" in a sitting or standing position depending on the workstation.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cleanroom experience in medical device or other regulated industry
