Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Finance team, the Credit & Collections Specialist role is responsible for evaluating credit risk, ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts, and analyzing customer creditworthiness. This role is critical in maintaining the company’s cash flow and minimizing bad debt. 
 
About the Role:
  • Monitor and Manage customer accounts to ensure timely collections, resolve overdue balances, and optimize cash flow through effective strategies and policies.
  • Evaluate and analyze the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial statements, credit reports, and other data.
  • Prepare aging reports, identify collection risks, and recommend actions such as payment plans, write-offs, or legal action when needed.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing issues, maintain account records, and support audits and cash application processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A) in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field; in lieu of degree, equivalent work experience may be acceptable.
  • 2+ years of experience in credit and collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial field.
  • Experience with cash applications, credit analysis, and collections processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
