Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of our Quality team, the Quality Technician Supervisor oversees and performs quality activities and processes on raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished goods.
About the Role:
- Supervises and provides direction to Quality Technicians. Responsible for attracting and retaining talent including interviewing, hiring, coaching, disciplining, terminating employees. Manages work and time off schedules.
- Is the process owner and performs activities related to incoming, in-process, and finished good inspection, sterilization release, sterility assurance, environmental monitoring, non-conformances, document control, and calibration. Coordinates the execution of First Article Inspections.
- Ensures quality records are complete, compliant and accurate per quality procedures, and supports both internal and external audits and performs quality audits and inspections, as applicable.
- Analyzes and presents quality data at the local and the division level, suggests improvement actions to ensure on time completion of processes and product, and assists in developing and improving quality procedures.
- Lead Material Review Board and own and investigate CAPAs and audit nonconformities in process ownership areas, initiate non-conformances and assists with containment activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a high school diploma; or 4 years with an AS, BS or MS degree.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; attentive to detail with a strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations.
- Demonstrated computer skills and a working knowledge of computer software (MS Outlook, MS Word, and Excel).
- Knowledge of medical device quality and safety requirements and familiar with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Experience with reviewing, investigating, resolving, and responding to customer complaints for medical devices preferred.
- Proficient in the use of common measurement tools and familiar with sterility assurance and calibration concepts.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, as well as success working independently and in a team environment.
