Manager Operations
About the Role:
Operational Leadership:
- Lead daily operations across production, engineering, maintenance, and support teams.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality medical products in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
Performance Management:
- Own and deliver site PKIs related to:
- Safety: Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with EH&S standards.
- Quality: Maintain product integrity and compliance with quality systems.
- Delivery: Meet customer demand through effective planning and execution.
- Cost: Manage budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- People Engagement: Build a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute site-level strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support new product introductions and technology transfers.
Team Development & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Facilities & Management:
- Ensure optimal functioning of all site infrastructure and equipment.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and capital projects.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the site in audits, customer visits, and corporate reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of delivering results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, problem solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FDA and ISO 13485 compliance.
- Ability to lead in a matrixed organization.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on operational role.
- Passion for developing talent and fostering a positive workplace culture.
