Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the full production process of sterile syringe products, including material preparation, formulation, syringe filling and sterilization; while ensuring compliance with documentation, safety and quality standards, in strict compliance with FSA and ISO standards.
About the Role:
- Weighs, depyrogenates, and documents raw materials, executes, and monitors processes. Performs troubleshooting, cleaning and sanitization of equipment.
- Utilizes consistent handling, gowning, and hygiene techniques to ensure that bioburden, particulate, and other contaminates stay within validated limits.
- Completes and files accurate and completed production records and maintains controlled room environment to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.
- Assemble and/or kit components into final products, perform and document in-process and final inspection, package work-in-process and finished goods.
- Maintenance of laboratory instruments (including standardizing, cleaning, maintenance and calibration) and of workspace (including housekeeping of personal workspace, laboratory and retain areas).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with product formulation and steam sterilization
- Experience with product and process documentation
- Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in laboratory science or equivalent with 2+ years of sterile technique
- 1-3 years' experience in light assembly, packaging and shipping environment
- MTL (ASCP), CRCST or other applicable certifications
