Who We’re Looking For: 

Working as a part of the Global Human Resources Team, the Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, talent acquisition and HRIS for the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway. 

About the Role:

  • Maintaining, updating and processing employee data concerning all aspects of employment (i.e. hiring, termination, time off, payroll, employee benefit eligibility, health & safety) in compliance with data privacy standards and country regulations, through the Company’s HRIS database.  
  • Supporting managers and employees with respect to employment related matters, such as interpretation of company policies, performance management, annual compensation review process and benefits administration. In some cases, leading employee relations issues, ensuring procedures are properly followed and all documentation is completed and filed.
  • Guides Managers through the hiring process and builds a pipeline of qualified candidates against open roles as well as proactively sourcing positions routinely filled throughout the year. Manage the onboarding process for new hires.  
  • Negotiates contracts with both pre- approved and in some cases new vendors that will assist in HR processes such as hiring. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or related field  
  • 7+ years’ experience in an HR Advisor/Generalist role; with previous international experience preferred  
  • Practical decision-making ability in complex situations; ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all situations; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Positive attitude, resilience and the ability to produce high quality results in a fast-paced environment  
  • Bi-lingual Dutch and English
