Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the Operational Excellence team, the Senior Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible to drive Operational Excellence across all Laborie Manufacturing Facilities and key Contract Manufacturers by designing and implementing sustainable systems that enable full engagement resulting in world-class operational performance in safety, quality, delivery, lead-time, and cost. The incumbent will provide expert advice in the following areas: Project Management, Problem Solving, Six Sigma, Lean Management Systems, Value Stream, Visual Management, Strategy Deployment, and Leader Standard Work.

 

About the Role:

  • Drive continuous improvement through training and leading Lean/Six Sigma projects to reduce cost, improve quality and delivery.
  • Prioritize and manage Continuous Improvement activities across all sites and key contract manufacturers to achieve objectives.
  • Lead site leadership teams through the annual Strategy Deployment process to gain alignment on site breakthrough opportunities.
  • Lead in creation and deployment of the site transformation plan to achieve world class operational performance.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BS in Engineering or related degree that provides strong PM and Lean skill development.
    • At least 10 years manufacturing operations experience.
    • Experience applying Lean methodologies and overall project/program management at a corporate level.
    • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to travel to Laborie locations as needed.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MS or MBA
    • Project Managment specialization course or training
    • Medical device, Life Science and/or Health Care company experience
    • PMP, PgPM PMI Certification, LSS Black Belt or Green Belt or equivalent certifications strongly desired.
