Who We’re Looking For: 

As a key member of the France Sales team, the Field Service Engineer will provide technical support and services for Laborie systems and customers in the South East France area. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing medical equipment, such as Urodynamic systems and Gastro-Intestinal diagnostic systems and implementing those systems to the hospital network.

 

 

 

About the Role: 

  • Handling customer calls (questions, problems and complaints) on product usage.
  • Providing remote customer support (trouble shooting and problem solving).
  • Providing on-site technical service activities including:

-          Installation, and installation preparation by consulting with customer or supervisor to plan;

-          the configuration and layout of equipment;

-          the software installation (local PC or network installation);

-          possible hospital IT integration (HL7, DICOM);

-          preventive and corrective maintenance of systems;

-          Service training to biomedical teams and other service agents.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree - HBO
  • Electro-technical and/or Information Technology MedTech – Bio technical – Biomedical – IT-related studies/experience.
  • IT knowledge - Microsoft Operating Systems, both stand-alone PC’s and domain integration solutions, Windows XP, -7 and -10, Security.aspects, Fault finding, Networking (TCP/IP, Routers), Hospital IT integration (HL7, DICOM).
  • French is native language. Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Full driving license.
  • Flexible in terms of traveling (including occasional overnight stays).
