Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our European finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding customer accounts.
About the Role:
- Review weekly aging reports to identify and monitor overdue accounts.
- Communicate with customers to collect overdue amounts and resolve any related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer account and collection issues.
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness to set appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
- Review and execute order hold and releases.
- Ensure cash receipts are applied accurately and timely to the appropriate customer account.
- Establish and maintain credit and collection profiles within customer master data files.
- Take ownership of special projects and drive them to completion.
- Assist in identifying and implementing Accounts Receivable process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an accounts receivable department
- Thorough understanding of accounts receivable fundamentals and financial software applications.
- Requires decision making skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written with staff, customers and other departments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in the required languages, English with French or German as an addition.
- CCP (Certified Credit Professional) designation or being in the final stage of completion is an asset.
