Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the Operations team, the Facilities Supervisor would be primary point of contact for all vendors and projects, requiring ability to work and make decisions independently, project management skills, and financial understanding.


About the Role:

  • Oversee daily activities of direct reports and conduct performance evaluations, make determinations regarding performance improvement actions, and implement as necessary. 
  • Act as primary contact and project manager on designated projects relating to the facility, including renovations, expansions, moves, etc.  
  • Participate in site safety committee meetings 
  • Manage housekeeping and ensure cleanliness of all facilities both interior and exterior of the facility (including snow removal) 
  • Manage building/facilities maintenance through contacting contractors/vendors for building issues electrical, HVAC repair, cleaning services, mate replacement, etc. 
  • Maintain regulatory compliance to infrastructure procedures including pest control, fire extinguisher check, fire safety check, safety lights, etc. in conjunction with external contracted services 
  • Perform preventive maintenance per issued PM instructions. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred 
  • 5-10 years building maintenance, trade or contracting experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 
  • 2+ years Project Management experience 
  • 2+ years leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in plumbing, sheetrock, machine installation, electrical, groundskeeping, HVAC 
  • Experience working with city/county/localities on construction projects 
  • Experience creating and maintaining preventative maintenance processes 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Effective time management, strong organizational skills, ability to work with some supervision, and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English) mandatory.
  • Ability and willingness to lift to 75 LBS (up to 40 LBS daily and 75 LBS occasionally) and Bend at waist, sit, kneel, climb, walk, crouch as job may require 
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures 
  • Work in high noise levels requiring hearing protection 
  • Work around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints 
  • Valid drivers’ license.
