What We Need       

Kymeta is looking for a Regional Vice President – Enterprise & Federal Government Sales, Americas. Leveraging your passion and experience as a Sales professional you will identify, develop and manage new and existing accounts in the enterprise and local, state, and federal government verticals. You will have responsibility for Kymeta’s success in driving communications products and services to resellers, distribution partners and government customers. This is an opportunity to take your skills to a new level. Sales experience in the satellite industry is a plus.     

        

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES       

  • Leverage your sales and account management skills to actively manage, develop, and guide customers, to achieve the desired revenue and product plans, developing the territory with a sense of purpose.
  • Apply your understanding of the market and region to continuously analyzing Kymeta’s position in the market.
  • Provide direct feedback to internal stakeholders (such as Product teams) to help with the formulation of product and long-term needs. Support the development of unique selling propositions and deliver differentiated services. 
  • Apply strategic thinking to tailor and execute revenue retention and growth strategies for your assigned customer base and new blue-chip customers.
  • Develop new business opportunities and customers in North, Central and South America
  • Keep existing and potential customers up to date with the latest Kymeta equipment and marketing materials.
  • Exceed assigned quota.
  • Provide weekly sales reports and weekly schedules to leadership.
  • Daily leverage Salesforce to maintain an active and accurate pipeline.

        

        

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE       

  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in telecommunication solutions and services with a specific emphasis on building resellers and government partners.
  • Solid business knowledge and understanding of mobility connectivity applications.
  • Exposure to cross functional virtual teaming.
  • Understanding and success selling into large integrators and operators.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.

        

EDUCATION       

  • A university degree or equivalent gained through experience.

        

COMPENSATION       

Kymeta is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In the spirit of pay transparency, we have determined the salary range for this position to be $180,000 - $200,000. This is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would be atypical, to allow for future and continued salary growth. Compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and geography. The total compensation package for this position includes a sales incentive plan, stock options, and benefits listed below. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
