Position Summary: 
 
KSM is seeking an Operations Director for the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) group. The TAS Director will play a pivotal role in advancing the group’s operational excellence, team performance and overall growth.  This includes identifying and implementing best practices for operational management within the group, ensuring that processes are both efficient and scalable to meet the demands of a growing client portfolio. The Director will also be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzing data to inform decision-making and enhance team productivity, setting benchmarks for performance and accountability.
 
The TAS Director will work closely with leadership to uphold and promote organizational culture, lead regular team meetings to ensure clear communication, and support alignment across the team. This position is ideal for a proactive leader with strong operational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, capable of leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Strategic Planning and Execution
    • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the TAS vision, mission, and long-term objectives
    • Identify and evaluate operational improvements to drive growth and efficiency
    • Oversee pipeline and workload distribution of all team members
    • Coordinate process, workflow and utilization of offshore resources exclusively used in the TAS group
  • People Management and Organizational Development
    • Foster a culture of innovation, and teamwork
    • Collaborate with internal and external recruiters to implement effective talent acquisition strategies
    • Oversee internship program for TAS, ensuring that interns provide value to the overall TAS group while also gaining meaningful experience in the transactions space
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
    • Champion the adoption of new technologies, tools, and practices to improve operational efficiency
    • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in operations leadership within the professional services space
  • Proven experience in team and resource management, including coordinating with offshore teams and managing direct reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on productivity analysis and process optimization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
  • Experience managing recruiting, internship programs, or similar talent acquisition and development initiatives is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold and promote organizational culture within a team.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
