Responsibilities:
- Coordinate workflow for tax engagements for multiple departments.
- Responsible for ensuring all daily projects and engagements are staffed appropriately based on the needs of each department.
- Maintain the scheduling database for assigned departments and train employees to use the scheduling database.
- Facilitate efficient resource management processes to meet current and future resource requirements.
- Proactively plan and lead resource meetings with associates and management to effectively monitor, adjust, and report on utilization and capacity.
- Compile and provide utilization reports for management.
- Assist management in organizing and planning evaluations and feedback.
- Support onboarding of new employees and assist with identifying training needs.
- Assist with identifying and setting department goals as it relates to resource management.
- Build and maintain relations and communication among multiple departments.
- Application of defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot, resolve and address matters.
- Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents in support of objectives for the firm.
- Contribute to team effort by performing additional tasks as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Related functional experience: minimum of 2 years.
- Strong experience in team management and effective resource planning.
- Good knowledge of Workforce Management tools.
- Ability to coordinate and maintain follow-up on several projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft applications.
- A high degree of initiative with the ability to think proactively and problem-solve.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and be resourceful.
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in an environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
