Description

The Engineering Co-Op is a unique position and works closely with Project Managers and internal team members (Engineers) to deliver custom solutions. The Co-Op will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical process automation tools, business automation tools, and detailed work processes for mobile devices.

The Co-Op will have a working understanding of software development to script automation tasks and exchange information with SQL databases. This role will exercise strong analytical, troubleshooting and testing skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Automate the deployment of mobile devices for a variety of applications, including transportation, medical, and industrial/hardened.
  • Develop, produce, and maintain hardware test plans, processes, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical and manufacturing support for Integron production automated tools.
  • Analyze and assist in maintaining and improving current business and technical processes.
  • Develop business automation scripts and workflow tools.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Pursuing a degree in computer science or other Engineering related majors.
  • Experience designing and coding scripts and process automation tools in Visual Studio .NET, C#, Python, and Visual Basic.
  • Experience creating and using queries, reports, and forms using SQL.
  • Experience with technical documentation methodology (documenting manufacturing processes).
  • Experience with automated test software development, verification, release and deployment.
  • Experience error proofing (poka-yoke) new and existing automated test/manufacturing related processes.
  • Experience scripting the communication or configuration to or from hardware a plus
  • Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) controls of mobile platforms such as Airwatch, SOTI, and Maas360 is a plus.
