We are looking for a Data Center Administrator! If you are a technical person with experience in building, maintaining and expanding Data Center infrastructure, then this job is for you! We are looking for candidates having technology in their veins and don’t shy away from technical challenges to join our team as a Data Center Administrator.

The Data Center Administrator is responsible for helping to build out, maintain, and troubleshoot KOREs expanding infrastructure also configuring, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting KORE data center infrastructure. As well as providing some direction and exhibiting leadership skills to assist the team as a whole.

  • Research, provision, plan and install new equipment in our global data centers including servers, network and PDUs needed for project implementations to meet project dates.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment within the data center. Collaborate with management to determine efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems or services. Make recommendations based on experience and expertise.
  • Keep up to date on policies and requirements to ensure the data center equipment meets standards.
  • Ensure all necessary operational processes and procedures are carried out with a high level of attention to detail, expediency, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain network and data center diagrams and detailed site documentation.
  • Write procedural and policy documentation for internal and external use. Validate that all documentation is current and accurate.
  • Coordinate large expansion projects with implementations or upgrades to Data Center equipment.
  • Perform regular inspections of the critical infrastructure including data collection and evaluation.
  • Alert appropriate team to provide warning/notification if thresholds have been reached, something has changed, or a failure has occurred.
  • Resolve technical problems with hardware, software, and connectivity. Use experience, expertise, and data analysis to collaborate with IT team members in the identification of corrective actions to increase efficiency and improve performance.
  • Monitor rack & room environments for adequate power and cooling for IT equipment. Configure tools for power and environmental monitoring.
  • Administer physical security access to the Data Centers.
  • Responsible for traveling to different sites and countries during working hours.
  • When performing some duties, lifting is required.
  • Completes all required learning relevant to the role.
  • Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • HS Diploma/Relevant Experience
  • 3+ years working in Data Center space
  • Familiarity with Server operating systems is desired (Windows and Linux)
  • Familiarity with Cisco Switching is desired. (Ability to configure switchports)


  • Should be able to coordinate with partners and providers to support daily data center activity
  • Should be able to install / uninstall hardware including network, server and storage equipment
  • Ability to login to Network devices to add basic Ethernet port programming is desired
  • Ability to troubleshoot & provide root cause analysis of any issues, and recognizing when to escalate
  • Good understanding of Layer 2 to include network cabling and cable termination types
  • Hands-on exposure on Windows/Linux/Unix
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of technical knowledge and apply it to troubleshooting and support tasks
  • Organize time efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a geographically distributed team environment and communicate clearly and efficiently
