Are you an Manufacturing Engineering Technician? If you are an experienced technician, then you may be the person our team needs! We are seeking a great team player to work closely with our customers and other team members to deliver customs solutions.
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting in the Onboarding of new products/offerings focused within the field of IOT (Internet of Things). Onboarding starts with discovery regarding the specific product and ends with fully operationalizing the product to be manufactured in a production environment. This position works closely with the Engineering Manager, Production floor personnel and supervisor, Quality Department, Sales, and Client Engagement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Support Creating Engineering Samples
• Assist in developing Product Specifications
• Create Production Work Instructions
• Provide Technical process support and training to Production personnel
• Maintain knowledge on OEM specific HW, Connectivity, and applicable Platforms
• Conduct Production Feasibility Assessment
• Create process Flow Charts & Risk Assessments
• Provide time studies pertaining to Production processes
• Support process improvement initiatives and activities
• Provide engineering support to determine root cause and implement corrective actions on internal and customer related manufacturing problems
• Troubleshoot technical/process issues
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• 2-5 years of applicable work experience with electrical, mechanical, and computer hardware.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and computer hardware.
• Familiarity with creating technical documentation.
• Familiarity with MS Office communication and collaboration tools
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Post-secondary technical degree or certificate.
• Experience writing, testing, or debugging software.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and computer hardware
• Experience providing technical customer service, such as tech support, installation/repair service, help desk, etc.
• Experience working in an ISO (9001 & 13485) environment
