This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in the fastest growing technology field. The role of will lead the Credit and Collections operations for KORE. In this critical position, your responsibilities include partnering with your Leader on delivering an effective credit verification strategy and tactics to accurately assess the risk of doing business with a  customer. You have a passion for risk metrics and mitigation and ensuring Policies, Processes and Practices deliver what is best practice Collections. You equally have the skills and demonstrated ability to lead your team in customer service excellence.


Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Accountable to attract and retain your team through the HR Life cycle [recruitment, onboarding, objectives, and success measures to drive performance development and training, career pathing, offboarding].
  • Ensure daily credit and collections operations are running effectively to manage DSO targets by:
    • Maintaining efficient and effective best practice as KORE evolves on Collection Policies, Processes, and Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs] that impact Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging
    • Ensuring your team can sustain the ability to complete processes and SOP’s
    • Rolling up your sleeves as required to support your team in Interacting with customers to collect payments on delinquent accounts
    • Review reports and analyses to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of current policies, processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvements re: risk mitigation.
    • Monitoring trends in customer accounts to proactively identify and mitigate bad debt, and work with key stakeholders- Sales, Billing, FP&A and Legal on at risk accounts to ensure the right approach is taken to mitigate bad debt risk and overall cash flow issues.
  • Partner to sustain strong relationships with Sales, Customer Service, and other key stakeholder teams.
  • Partnering with Billing to understand their work and tools to manage the collections processes more effectively.
  • Learning your Leader’s job to support and be backup when needed.
  • Participate and/or lead Projects and initiatives that will support the mandate of the Accounts Receivable function.
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
  • Certified Credit Professional in good standing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit and Collections in a global environment
  • Minimum 5 years leading a team in Credit and/or Collections
  • Demonstrated strong ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports
  • NetSuite experience an asset
  • Understanding of different biller rater platforms an asset in partnering with Billing on complex accounts analysis
