Responsibilities of this position include: • Work closely with lead developers to understand feature specifications • Produce interim deliverables quickly (such as technical proofs of concept, etc.) • Setup, configuration, daily monitoring, and support for the production system • Communicate with development, product, and account management teams to address customer issues/concerns • Support the initial review and analysis of Help Desk tickets, as per Problem Management procedures • Work with Incident Monitoring and Escalation Processes and ensure appropriate escalation of all support-related issues • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) • Facilitate the design and implementation process for new products/projects and evaluate impact on the production system Skills and Qualifications: • 4+ years of development experience required • Strong background in Informatica • Excellent skills in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases and respective procedural languages (PL/SQL and T-SQL) • Strong Unix Shell scripting background • Familiar with Application Development Life Cycle and able to independently participate in each component • Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, and verbal skills • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, including a positive can-do attitude • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience • Demonstrates our core competencies of customer focus, integrity, initiative, innovation, collaboration and results orientation • Legally eligible to work in Canada We appreciate the interest of all candidates but only those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.
