Position Overview:

KORE Power is currently seeking a self-motivated and innovative Sales Operations Manager to join our growing company and help us organize and drive results within our Global team and with our partners. As a Sales Operations Manager on our dynamic and driven team you will leverage your experience to liaison between the KORE Sales team & Customers, Logistics Team, and our manufacturing team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Operations Management (60%)
  • Support the field sales team on quote processes, pricing, configuration, and terms
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure that quote creation and approval SLAs are met
  • Assist with the review of non-standard deal terms and ensure compliance with published sales and approval policies and act as an escalation point for approvals
  • Provide first-tier support for any end-user technical or process questions in Salesforce and other systems primarily managed by Sales Operations
  • Accurately manage the sales forecast process so as to provide regular (monthly) updates to the manufacturing team
  • Implement tools and processes for the sales organization that focuses on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, with a focus on scalability and driving significant growth
  • Work with other departments to improve integration between Salesforce and other mission-critical systems, including, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, service, etc.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure proper lead management processes, metrics, and policies
  • Maintain data integrity within customer records in Salesforce.com and other systems
  • Monitor system adoption and data compliance and governance
  • Develop best practices that align sales data quality with company initiatives
  • Other initiatives as requested by department manager

 

  1. Logistics (30%)
  • Provide global import/export expertise for all areas of the company’s operations across all modes of transport.
  • Transportation and third-party logistics (3PL) supplier management, includes developing suppliers, managing suppliers, and interfacing with suppliers on the management of the day-to-day operations in support of the order processing.
  • Responsible for reviewing/creating customs documents, Bill of Lading, quoting, and award of transport service contracts to ensure on-time supply and cost objectives.
  • Partner with and manage the performance of freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking companies, and others to meet objectives
  • Collaborate & communicate cross-functionally with SCM, manufacturing, finance on schedules and strategies both upstream and downstream to ensure on-time delivery and revenue recognition of our products.
  • Lead Services agreement negotiations and with logistics services providers for successfully support of our operations
  • Maintain existing and recommend new revised logistics policies and standard work and ensure continued compliance to laws and regulations as well as coordinate the proper certifications and trainings as required
  • In coordination with the corporate logistics teams, responsible for developing and maintaining company-wide standard operating procedures related to Logistics.
  • Provide support for Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, and other departments.
  • Responsible for achieving goals of 95% on-time, in full delivery and 99% fill rate.
  1. Forecast management (10%)
  • Facilitate information internally between multiple KORE teams to accurately prepare final sales forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis for battery partner in China
  • Troubleshoot supply shortage issues as needed to meet committed sales demand

 

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Import and Export rules and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of Trucking, Air, Ocean transportation.
  • Self-directed team leader with excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Must possess problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, investigation skills, leadership skills, analyst skills, the ability to train others, and general knowledge of ERP Systems and Engineering Drawings.
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills with the ability to develop strong support for change with all levels of internal and external organizations.
  • Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects through to completion and to manage competing priorities.
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
  • Hazmat Certified preferred or willing to be certified in the first six months.
  • Project Management experience
