Job Overview

 

We are currently seeking a skilled Human Resource Generalist to join our team and contribute to our continued growth. As a Human Resource Generalist at KORE Solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department in various HR functions and initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, supporting employee relations, and promoting a positive and engaging work culture. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the administrator for the department, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Coordinate and oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer letters.
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
  • Assist with employee relations matters.
  • Answer employee inquiries and provide support as needed.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims, and vendor management.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Assist in the implementation of training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Manage employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews, and offboarding documentation.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR and proactively recommend improvements to HR policies and practices.
  • Collaborate on the execution of department goals and objectives.
  • Lead and collaborate on special HR projects.

Reports To

 

The position will report to the Senior Human Resource Business Partner.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with employees at all levels.
  • Commitment to actively promote and contribute to an inclusive workplace.
  • Ability to be flexible, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Working knowledge of HR best practices and legal compliance.
  • Maintains a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Comfortable navigating through cloud-based applications and online portals.
  • Experience with Payroll and HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate orally.
  • Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without corrective lenses or an assisted hearing device.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • No heavy lifting is expected.

Work Environment

  • The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
  • Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer.
