WHAT YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE TO KORE… |
The Production Technician is part of the design and fulfillment team that builds and delivers KORE’s custom-engineered battery energy storage solutions. Work is based at our Waterbury, Vermont facility. |
ESSENTIAL FUNNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
· Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and manufacturing processes under the supervision of Production Lead. · Trained on all stations and can read all prints and schematics. · Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in production. · Adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. · Involved in all aspects of battery energy storage system production, including electrical, mechanical, and controller fabrication. · Follow safety procedures and report any safety concerns to the Safety and Compliance Officer or Production Manager. · Participate in developing best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability. · Supports and contributes to cross-functional teams. · Self-motivated demonstrating ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and projects. · Other duties as assigned or required. |
QUALIFICATIONS |
· Electromechanical assembly experience working in a production environment. · Technical problem-solving skills and reasoning ability. · Experience operating hand and power tools. · Ability to communicate effectively and clearly. · Must be self-motivated and a great team worker. |
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
· Standing for extended periods is common. · Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without corrective lenses or an assisted hearing device. · Some heavy lifting is expected; occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force may be required. · Good manual dexterity is required for assembly and production work. |
WORK ENVIRONMENT |
· The job is performed indoors in a traditional production setting. |
