Position Overview:

This role is located in Coeur d’Alene, ID.  There is no relocation assistance or a living stipend available beyond the hourly rate of pay.

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Summer IT Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship program. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT team to support our company's technology needs and contribute to the ongoing development of our IT infrastructure.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems
  • Perform routine maintenance on computers and related equipment
  • Help support end-users with technical issues, including software and hardware problems
  • Assist with data entry and management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
  • Participate in IT-related projects and initiatives
  • Research new technologies and tools to improve our IT infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and other common software applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with programming languages such as PowerShell and Python
  • Familiarity with network administration and security
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with Mac & Linux

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
