President - NOMAD Transportable Power Systems

Based in Waterbury, VT, NOMAD Transportable Power Systems is a leading developer of mobile, high-density, high-voltage energy storage solutions for global utility, industrial and mission-critical markets. NOMAD is a subsidiary of KORE Power, Inc.
NOMAD serves the growing demand for applications such as replacing fossil fuel peaker plants, wind and solar plus storage projects, Microgrid optimization, behind-the-meter C&I, mining energy solutions and the Military.
Position Overview:
NOMAD is currently seeking a President. This role will be the cornerstone of the company and will continue the process of global expansion of a new company based on tried-and-true technology that has come together to build a solution that is cutting edge, and disruptive to a market in desperate need of Transportable Energy. The candidate will have exceptional leadership, organizational, communication and writing skills, and be comfortable with multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. The President provides leadership for all aspects of NOMAD’s operations with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, profit, and return on investment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the ongoing operations of all divisions in the company on a national and international level.
- Manages and directs the company toward its primary goals and objectives.
- Oversees Sales and Strategic Partnerships at the executive level of the company.
- Leads a team of to consider major decisions including partnerships, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, and large-scale expansion.
- Promotes communication and cooperation among divisions to create a spirit of unity in the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works with Executive Leadership and other senior partners to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals, and related plans and policies.
- Presents regular reports on the status of NOMAD’s operations to the Executives and to company staff.
- Oversees the organization’s financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the company.
- Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company’s objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.
- Ensures the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
- Negotiates with other companies regarding actions such as mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures.
- Serves as the company’s representative to the board of directors, shareholders, employees, customers, the government, and the public.
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 15+ years leading a public or private organization in the role of CEO or President
- 15+ years leading global organizations and a deep understanding of rules and regulations when doing business in foreign countries
- 10+ years leading private companies through growth, in terms of acquiring adequate funding, people management and operational footprint management
- Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership over any business operations area.
- Superlative communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader.
- Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations.
Education:
- Advanced degree in business administration, finance, or law is preferred
