Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of information technology systems and their applications and will be able to provide support and maintenance for all aspects of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

•        Design, implement, and maintain IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking equipment.

•        Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and resolve issues.

•        Maintain and test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

•        Manage security protocols to protect against threats and unauthorized access.

•        Develop and maintain documentation of IT systems and processes.

•        Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network issues.

•        Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions.

•         Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve IT infrastructure and operations.

Requirements:

•       Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

•         Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration.

•         Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware and software systems, and cybersecurity best practices.

•         Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud computing.

•         Experience with project management and budgeting.

•         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•         Relevant certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without corrective lenses or an assisted hearing device.
• Using computers, mobile devices, and other technologies requires good manual dexterity.
• Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position most of the time and occasionally move about inside the office.
• Some heavy lifting is expected; occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force may be required.
