Pay Range: $20-$24 hourly + uncapped commission through the Driver Recruiter Commissions Program.
 
Knight Transportation is seeking a highly motivated, performance-driven individual to join our Driver Recruiting Team. This is not a HR role; it’s a sales and customer service position focused on converting inbound leads into successful hires.
 
In this role, you’ll be reaching out to driver candidates who have expressed interest in joining Knight. Your role would be to pre-qualify candidates, answer questions, explain driving routes, and pay structure. You are selling them on Knight’s culture and opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote Knight’s Culture and Benefits: Confidently communicate what set’s Knight apart as an industry leader
  • Engage New Leads Immediately: Reach out to all incoming driver leads the same day they’re received using a multi-channel approach (phone, email, and text)
  • Educate and Inform: Provide clear, compelling information about our facilities, operations, pay packages, benefits, and specialized/dedicated routes
  • Build Meaningful Connections: Establish rapport by understanding each driver candidates career goals, preferences, and motivations to ensure a strong match
  • Own the Recruitment Journey: Guide driver candidates from initial contact through the entire hiring process; ensuring a smooth, engaging experience from lead to onboarded team member
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service or recruiting, ideally within an inbound sales-driven environment
  • Previous telephone sales experience is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and active listening skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
