Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Complete ownership of the dedicated fleet, fully accountable for the profitability of the fleet, primary customer contact, and day to day operations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with assigned customer personnel on all levels while developing solid relationships to enhance growth.
- Coordinate with assigned customers operations teams and third party organization's to effectively book and manage backhauls.
- Facilitate operations and increase efficiency while incorporating customer's in-house processes and systems.
- Perform planning, driver management and customer service functions as needed.
- Coordinate across multiple facilities and personnel to ensure 24/7 customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Coordinate and maintain regularly scheduled trailer and tractor maintenance including DOT and PM services as well as Skybitz provisions.
- Ensure on time delivery and monitor and trace loads so that follow up can be made to customers regarding late pickups and/or deliveries.
- Ensure billing, Electronic Data Exchange (EDI), and statistical information is submitted timely and accurately.
- Drive profitability for KNX by highlighting opportunities and engaging KNX Dedicated Operations to continuously improve solutions.
- Develop a personal and professional relationship with each Driving Associate that leads to exceptional safety, service, equipment care, fuel performance and retention.
- Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 2+ years' in Operations and/or Planning and/or Customer Accounts in the transportation and/or retail industry required.
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Must be able to work under stress while remaining professional at all times.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to present information clearly and concisely.
- Must be customer focused.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills.
- Must possess strong MS Office skills.
Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annual
