Job Description Summary

The Oracle Business Analyst - WMS will function as the Super User and is the main point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance, including but not limited to user setup, configuration, training, and validation testing.  This position also requires hours dedicated activities specific to the assigned business unit. This position reports to the Distribution Center Manager. 

The duties and responsibilities of the position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide technical Oracle support via phone, email, virtual, or in person
  • Defuse user frustration, and move toward process resolution
  • Work with teams to identify gaps, process improvements, and system enhancements to help communicate issues to and work with technical support to resolve
  • Achieve and maintain metrics for problem resolution and problem escalation. This includes providing analysis, problem resolution and improvement plans for the Oracle systems
  • Develop and maintain training documentation and training matrix
  • Be able to train users in a one-on-one, or classroom setting. This includes maintaining technical documentation that outlines system configuration and steps
  • Run simulated testing on new processes, updates, or system validation within a cross functional group.
  • Ensure proper ERP system set ups and resolve all issues within the database

  • Work Experience: 5 years of experience in Distribution Center/Warehouse/Logistics management including 2 years as an Oracle WMS Analyst/Super User in this area.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Computer Skills: Advanced technical knowledge with Oracle EBS(WMS). Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experience with SQL and Oracle ERP tables
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
  • Communication Skills: This position occasionally communicates with others who need training and development. High level of interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Basic English reading, writing and mathematical skills.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Work Experience: Experience in the Oracle WMS preferred
