Job Description Summary

The Workrite Business Analyst – Syteline ERP is responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions to business needs, among other duties. Creatively assists with the daily management, implementation, and support of business ERP systems across departments. Proactively partners with key users on identifying problems and seeking solutions. The Business Analyst – Syteline ERP reports to the Director of IT.

The duties and responsibilities of the position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Planning, designing and leading customer and product projects
  • Work with analytics and business intelligence tools, Cognos report writing and MS SQL Relational Databases.
  • Operate as an ERP business partner to the Operations, Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Finance functions within the company to improve knowledge, efficiency, and customer service
  • Manage new initiatives in support of operational productivity for Sales, Production, Marketing, Customer Service, Purchasing/ Planning and Engineering business functions
  • Project manage and monitor all IT Workrite ERP project activities from ideation, design, build, implementation, validation, and post launch support
  • Support continuous upgrades and expansion of system capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal customers, outside resources and technology resources and partners
  • Provide modest Marketing website back-end support
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

  • Work Experience: 5 years of hands-on IT and project management
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field
  • Computer Skills: Experience with Infor Syteline ERP. Experience implementing Salesforce CRM and Infor Syteline ERP. Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and report writing tools such as Cognos. Experience with MS SQL. MS Office Suite
  • Organizational Skills:Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
  • Communication Skills:Ability to communicate effectively across a diverse customer-base; good verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization

Preferred Requirements:

  • Work Experience: Experience in start-up or growing small to medium sized business
  • Computer Skills: Experience with Oracle.
