Payroll Specialist - Temporary

Description

KIXEYE is looking for a temporary Payroll Specialist to support the company's payroll function.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Accurate and timely preparation and processing of multi-state domestic payroll and employee benefits, compliant with federal & state regulations
  • Manage 3rd party payroll service providers for international subsidiaries to ensure that global payroll is processed accurately
  • Verify payroll input, including time reported by non-exempt employees, and the output for completeness and accuracy
  • Update/maintain payroll worksheet, verify hours and approvals; transfer data to payroll system
  • Responsible for special payroll tax calculations and withholdings including garnishments
  • Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll 
  • Coordinate and partner with HR to keep all payroll records accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate with Accounting Team for month end close
  • Assisting with various ad hoc projects
  • Year-End audits for W2s & T4s
  • Possibility to support the stock admin team in day to day administration of the company's stock program. 

Skills required for the role: 

  • Must have the highest level of integrity
  • Minimum 4 years of payroll experience
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and highly motivated/proactive
  • Ability to deal with high volume transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experienced with ADP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Attention to detail, accuracy is a must
  • CPP certification desirable
  • A strong command of payroll regulations in California and other states
  • Experience with Solium Shareworks for stock administration a plus
