Are you a gamer who loves helping out your peers?

KIXEYE is looking for a customer support agent to work on a small team serving a select group of our most elite players. KIXEYE's Customer Support team helps our players with everything from billing issues, to bug reports, to feedback.

As a member of the VIP team you'll become an advocate for our most dedicated and valuable customers, and will have the opportunity to help these hardcore players step up their game. This position is a full-time role based in Portland, OR and only candidates possessing current Oregon state residency are able to be considered.


Role expectations:

  • Provide high-touch customer service to our top tier players using email and live chat
  • Be the voice of our players, working to alert the Support Coordinator of issues that are important to our customers.
  • Become an expert in two titles and spend dedicated time testing new features with your coworkers
  • Pilot new programs, new projects, and new avenues of support for our players
  • Answer 90 player emails per day
  • Handle complex issues escalated by our tier 1 level of support

What you bring to the role:

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Remote work experience a plus
  • Excellent written communication skills and a strong sense of empathy and compassion
  • Patience when de-escalating situations with frustrated gamers
  • Positive attitude and a motivation to help peers succeed
  • Weekend availability
  • General technical proficiency (Windows, Mac OS, Google Apps, Internet-savvy)
  • Ability to touch type and a typing speed of at least 50 WPM
