KIXEYE is currently seeking a Project Manager to work with our War Commander team to manage the development of new features and events.  This is a highly collaborative role that requires cross-discipline communication, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with all disciplines. You are responsible for determining needs, coordinating schedules, mitigating risks, communicating progress, and improving processes.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in game development (or other fast-paced software development) and has a keen knowledge of how each discipline operates and interacts. Self-direction and follow-up skills are a must, as well as the ability to anticipate issues and find effective solutions.  Your number one responsibility is to ensure the team delivers, and to do this you must help make everyone on the team be more effective in their jobs.

•    Determine stakeholder needs, and assist in developing requirements to meet them
•    Anticipate blind spots, breakdowns in communication, and gaps in expectations and proactively correct them
•    Manage the development life cycle, from creative concepts to development and release
•    Motivate, coordinate, and manage the activities of personnel to achieve project goals
•    Facilitate communication between developers, product management and artists and designers
•    Project planning and resource allocation of both daily and long-term scheduling
•    Communicate status of the project, risks, and opportunities to senior management

What you bring to the role:
•    Project management/producer experience or familiarity with agile or similar methodologies
•    Experienced with software development processes, and tools such as JIRA
•    Extremely strong communication skills; able to communicate effectively with engineering, management, customers, and business personnel
•    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
•    A demonstrable track record of leadership, communication and delivery
