You are instrumental in making game play meaningful. You have a strong understanding of game development processes and the role the QA team plays within that cycle. What you get to do every day:

  • Evaluates features and develops manual test cases to new or modified game features
  • Identifies and requests needs for QA testing from Engineering and Product
  • Reviews tasks and checklists required for release
  • Identify Feature slip risk to team and document risks
  • Document stakeholder expectations when applicable
  • Evaluates proposed game enhancement or improvement for feasibility
  • Coordinates releases and timelines across multiple disciplines
  • Develops testing procedures used to verify that functionality is according to requirements
  • Develops coverage for user acceptance, smoke, integration, regression, functional, compatibility, and performance testing as applicable
  • Maintains documentation for games by working with Engineering and Product
  • Writes, revises, and verifies testing standards and test casing for game design and product evaluation to attain quality of software and efficiency
  • Reviews new or modified game documentation to determine if game performs according to specs
  • Recommends game improvements or corrections to interdepartmental staff
  • Ensures testing is in place for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to features
  • Provides management, guidance and training to QA Analysts
  • Effectively integrates with the team and is an example in excellence to both QA and the broader organization
  • Works with the Leads group to manage feature planning and effective resourcing of the QA team
  • Being a communication bridge across disciplines and coordinating solutions
