Child and Family Clinical Supervisor
Hiring Range: $74,443.20 - $93,038.40 per year

Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for providing clinical and administrative leadership to children and families? Step into the role of a Clinical Supervisor and make a lasting impact on our Child & Family team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in coaching, mentoring, and ensuring the success of our therapists, care coordinators, parent partners, and youth advocates.

 

Major Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Lead the hiring, training, coaching, development, and evaluation of our dedicated staff, ensuring their growth and adherence to our treatment philosophy and values.
  • Collaborate closely with the Child & Family Director to streamline program procedures, fostering excellence in both clinical and administrative aspects.
  • Provide clinical supervision to our care coordinators, therapists, and peer supports, guiding them in delivering individual therapy, family therapy, and groups that align with our treatment philosophy.
  • Oversee clinical and clerical record reviews, ensuring timely and accurate documentation that meets all requirements.
  • Extend on-site clinical support to staff as needed, coordinating coverage and community outreach efforts.
  • Play a key role in resource management, including case assignment, treatment plan signing, authorization, and caseload management.
  • Monitor program-related contracts, coach to achieve program goals, and actively participate as a part of KMHS's supervisory team.
  • Foster positive relationships with child-serving agencies in the community, representing KMHS as a positive force and providing consultations, education, and training to various stakeholders.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health.

EXPERIENCE: Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience)

This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. Must meet and maintain the definition of a Mental Health Professional as defined in WAC 388-877-0500. Child Mental Health Specialist.
