Full-Time System Administrator

Hiring Range: $26.89 - $33.61 Per Hour

This Position Is Fully Onsite in Bremerton, WA

Kitsap Mental Health Services is looking to hire a System Administrator who will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability, integrity, and security of the agency’s computer systems. You'll provide technical support for hardware, software, and communication systems, ensuring seamless operation across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform information management functions on the KMHS Windows network, including program patch upgrades and database management.
• Conduct maintenance tasks, system security, and file management in the KMHS network, troubleshooting as necessary.
• Maintain and support the agency’s networking devices and configurations.
• Develop and maintain network security, performing regular security audits and designing security workflows.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, servers, peripherals, and networks.
• Perform maintenance on agency end-user devices and ensure daily backup and archival of all data.
• Assist in the implementation of new IT technologies and services.
• Provide support for mobile devices and phone system programming, maintenance, and inventorying.
• Serve as backup Help Desk Representative and primary escalation source for remote access, printing, A/V systems, and servers.
• Fulfill duties specified in the I.S. on-call rotation calendar.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Associates Degree in a computer-related field (or equivalent).

EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)

Two years of experience in the following software:  Windows networks, spreadsheets, and database technologies such as SQL.

Microsoft and CompTIA certifications.

This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in a computer-related field.

EXPERIENCE: Expert (established subject matter expert, 5+ years of experience)

Performance Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE:

1. Working knowledge of HP Aruba ProLiant switches, FortiNet firewall, VPN, HIPAA, DUO MFA, Mobileiron MDM, Barracuda Backup, Barracuda Email Security Gateway and Cybersecurity.
2. Working knowledge of cell phones and operation. 
3. Working knowledge regarding operation of remote connection methods and computer peripherals. 

SKILLS:

1. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Need superior customer service skills, being able to work effectively with a variety of people in all departments to determine their problems and find solutions. 
3. Need good organizational skills to schedule and manage multiple service requests and meet customer expectations.
4. Team player.

ABILITIES:

1. Ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot third-party proprietary software. 

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: Frequent mobility and/or sitting required for extended periods.
