Director Of Crisis Services – Full-Time

Hiring Range: $106,849.60 - $136,219.20 Per Year

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus* (Half Paid At First Paycheck, Half Paid After 12 Months)

Lead our talented team of clinicians as Director of Crisis Services, overseeing the agency’s Crisis Triage Center and Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams. In this role, you'll provide both administrative leadership and clinical direction, ensuring high-quality, well-coordinated care for our clients. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure coordination and continuity of care for KMHS clients, collaborating with Directors to facilitate smooth transitions between services.
  • Provide consistent direction, supervision, and support to supervisees, focusing on the quality and continuity of clinical care.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop qualified staff, conducting ongoing coaching and timely performance appraisals.
  • Establish yearly goals for each program and ensure contract compliance. Participate in the Quality Program Review process.
  • Develop and monitor program budgets, maximize fee collection, maintain meaningful IS data, and address facilities' needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on state and federal regulations related to crisis services programs.
  • Implement administrative and clinical policies of KMHS, monitoring program policies and procedures for necessary updates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation relative to client contacts, in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify client and community needs and assist in enhancing and developing services to address those needs.
  • Represent KMHS in the community and serve as a liaison to other social service/community agencies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of county/regional plans, ensuring compliance with statutes and regulations.
  • Contribute to organizational visioning, strategic planning, and goal development.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of agency treatment philosophy.
  • Engage in community relations activities to promote KMHS's mission.
  • Foster positive staff morale by addressing problems promptly and facilitating thorough and accurate communications.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop qualified staff, providing ongoing coaching and conducting performance appraisals.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Services or Behavioral Health Field.

EXPERIENCE: Expert – minimum 7 years’ experience in community mental health services.

Five successful years of supervisory and administrative experience in social services arena. 

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.

 

Mental Health Professional or eligibility to obtain.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE:

Experience providing or overseeing crisis services.

Budget management experience.

LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC).
